Times Higher Education (THE) has issued a statement condemning the Russian invasion of Ukraine and indicating a number of steps to be taken by its world and regional rankings.
These include ensuring that the standing of Ukrainian universities will be maintained even if they are unable to submit data, making available news about higher education in Ukraine outside the paywall, not releasing profiles of Russian universities, and ceasing business activity, including branding and promotion with Russia.
THE indicated that it will not remove any Russian institution from its rankings.
