The IAAR Eurasian University Ranking – 2020 was published by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) based in  formerly Nur Sultan (Astana),  Kazakhstan. Methodology of the ranking consists of 20 parameters, each containing 4 to 6 indicators. Institutions are evaluated in four areas: academic reputation of the University, quality composition, concentration of scientific potential and internationalization. Despite current situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic and unfolding quarantine measures, universities from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Moldova took part in the IAAR Eurasian University Ranking (IAAR-EUR). In 2020 IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence granted IAAR the “IREG Approved” seal for the IAAR Ranking of Higher Education Institutions in Kazakhstan
