U-Multirank coverage outside Europe is rather patchy. It does, however, include many indicators and provides information that is not found anywhere else. It contains data from a survey of more than 100,000 students that is included in the annual rankings. A recent analysis indicates that students in Europe are generally satisfied with their learning experience and rate most of their programmes as good. Scores are available for 24 study programmes with a sufficient number of responses.The analysis of “happiest students by study subjects” is based on responses to a survey of overall learning experience.
European students rated their overall learning experience as good. The data were derived from the U-Multirank 2019 rankings and 929 subject programmes were surveyed
The programmes with the best overall ratings are:
- Environmental Engineering
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Materials Engineering
- Production/Industrial Engineering.
The programmes with the lowest scores are:
- Sociology
- Pharmacy/Pharmacology
- Civil Engineering
- Nursing
- Chemistry.
