SCImago’s Ranking has New Social Metrics

The SCImago Institutions Rankings are published by a company that is a spin-off from the SCImago Research Group, an organization supported by the Spanish National Research Council, the University of Granada, the Charles III University of Madrid, and other institutions.

The current methodology is based on three factors: Research, Innovation, and Societal. This year three new indicators have been added to the Societal Factor, namely new knowledge related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, research participation by women, and relevance to public policies.

In addition to overall rankings, there are tables for Government, Health, Universities, Companies, and Non-profits.
