Nature Index Confirms China’s Science Superpower Status

Nature Index is a database of 145 high-quality journals selected by leading active researchers. It currently covers publications in the biological sciences, chemistry, earth and environmental sciences, health sciences, and physical sciences.

Latest THE Impact Rankings

The latest edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings has just been released. This ranking attempts to assess universities’ commitment to meeting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

QS World Rankings: Chinese, Korean, Australian, and Indian Universities Rising

QS have released the 2025 edition of their World University Rankings. Chinese and Indian universities continue to rise while their British and American counterparts continue, with the notable exception of Imperial College London, to decline.

Latest Round University Ranking (from Tbilisi)

The Round University Ranking was originally based in Russia but have moved to Tbilisi, Georgia. However, it still seems to be perceived as a Russian ranking since it has been subject to Western sanctions, including cutting off survey and bibliometric data from Clarivate.

University of Zurich Withdraws from THE rankings

The University of Zurich has announced that it will no longer submit data to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and their various spin-offs.
