The latest edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings has just been released. This ranking attempts to assess universities’ commitment to meeting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
The overall score combines one mandatory goal, Partnership for the Goals, and the best three scores for the other goals. The rankings now include over 2000 universities from 125 countries. Canada and Australia perform very well. Brazil and India are well represented while there are only six universities from Mainland China.

- Good health and Well-being; JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, India
- Quality Education; Aalborg University, Denmark

- Clean Water and Sanitation; University of Exeter, UK
- Affordable and Clean Energy; Afe Babalola University, Nigeria
- Decent Work and Economic Growth; Kyungpook National University, South Korea
- Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; Delft University of Technology, Netherlands
- Reduced Inequalities; RMIT University, Australia
- Sustainable Cities and Communities; University of Manchester, UK
- Responsible Consumption and Production, Bournemouth University, UK
- Climate Action; University of Tasmania, Australia
- Life Below Water; Arizona State University, USA
- Life on Land, University of Manchester
- Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions; Universiti Sains Malaysia
- Partnership for the Goals; University of Technology Sydney, Australia.
