RUR: Russian Universities Ranking 2019 has been published for the first time. It includes 74 Russian universities, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia taking the 8th line in the overall classification and 3rd in terms of teaching quality, overtaking SPbU and MEPhI.

Russian Universities Ranking 2019 is based on the world ranking RUR WUR 2019, which includes more than 1,000 universities (in total there are more than 25,000 universities in the world). Among Russian universities, only 74 universities are represented in the international ranking.

Universities were evaluated according to 20 indicators of four areas of activity: quality of teaching, quality of research, level of internationalization and level of financial stability.

The ranking was published by RUR in partnership with Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science).
