PitchBook is a financial data and software company with offices in the UK and the USA. It produces annual rankings of universities based on the number of alumni who have raised venture capital over the last ten years.
The United States still dominates the global rankings. The top twenty universities for undergraduate founders include seventeen from the USA. For graduate founders, the USA accounts for sixteen, and of the top twenty MBA founders, fourteen are American.
Israel, the UK, and India are also producing new entrepreneurs. Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, the University of Tel Aviv, the London Business School, the University of Oxford, the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, and the Indian School of Business have performed well.

The top universities for female founders are nearly all North American, led by Berkeley, with 283 female founders, 281 companies, and seven billion dollars in capital.
