QS have developed International Trade Rankings in partnership with the Hinrich Foundation. The rankings, published in February of this year, cover master’s and MBA programmes in international trade. There is also a table for executive MBAs. Twenty-eight countries are included although Latin America, Africa and the Middle East are not represented.

The criteria are: Trade Programme Content, Graduate Outcomes, Industry Engagement, Innovative Teaching, Reputation, and Research.

The top six programmes are:

1. Arizona State University, USA (Thunderbird School of Global Management), Master of Global Management
2. University of Oxford, UK ,Oxford MBA
3. IMD, Switzerland, IMD MBA
4. University of Warwick, UK, MSc International Trade, Strategy, and Operations
5= University of Glasgow (Adam Smith Business School), UK, Master of Global Business
5=  University of Leeds (Leeds University Business School), UK, MSc International Business.

There is a separate ranking for Executive MBA programmes, which is currently headed by the University of Cambridge, followed by the Georgia Institute of Technology and the London Business School.
