Rankings are popular and important, but rankings aren't everything. To responsibly discuss the quality of higher education, we need to take into account the broader landscape of transparency and comparison tools, including benchmarking, and in particular initiatives such as "More Than Our Rank", CoARA and others. At the conference in Krakow we plan a special session focused on these quality assessing bodies.
To the IREG 2026 conference, we are inviting top international experts, rankers, accreditation organizations, academic coalitions, and other bodies who, from their angles, keep higher education institutions on their toes when it comes to excellence in teaching and research.
