The Ranking considered over 40 indicators grouped in the following four criteria:
PASSING LEGAL APPLICATIONS (10 POINTS)
ACADEMIC STAFF (MAX 29 POINTS)
- student-staff ratio (max. 6 points),
- the number of recently hired academic staff (from 2019) in relation to all academic staff (max. 1.5 points),
- the number of research grants received by the faculty or its academic staff (max. 3.5 points),
- the number of scientific publications (books) in relation to the number of academic staff (max. 4 points),
- the number of scientific publications (articles) in relation to the number of academic staff (max. 2 points),
- the number of scientific publications in Scopus database in relation to the number of academic staff (max. 2 points),
- the number of PhD degrees in law granted to the academic staff of the faculty since 2019 (max. 1 point),
- the number of habilitation degrees granted to the academic staff of the faculty since 2019 (max. 3 points),
- the number of professors’ titles awaded to the academic staff of the faculty since 2019 (max. 4 points),
- participation of employees in supreme state bodies, local governments or professional corporations (max. 2 points).
QUALITY AND CONDITIONS OF EDUCATION (MAX. 47.5 POINTS)
- rights to confer PhD degrees (max. 5 points),
- right to confer PhD with habilitation degree (max. 7 points),
- the number of books in the library per one student (max. 2 points),
- the ability to share books online (max. 2 points),
- the number of books in the library’s online version per one student (max. 1 point)
- number of computer workstations with the LEX program or an equivalent program per 100 students (max. 3 points),
- access to legal information systems from home (max. 1 point),
- the number of foreign language courses available (max. 1 point),
- functioning of the law clinic (max. 2 points),
- obligatory law clinic (max. 1 point),
- functioning of a foreign law school (max. 3 points),
- functioning of the alumni club (0.5 points),
- functioning of the career office (0.5 points),
- the number of active associations, student organizations and research clubs (max. 2 points),
- external distinctions and awards obtained by the faculty, its academic staff and students (max. 2.5 points),
- the number of national face-to-face and online conferences organized by the faculty (max. 3 points),
- the number of international face-to-face and online conferences organized by the faculty (max. 3.5 points),
- the number of post-diploma studies conducted at the faculty (max. 2 points),
- the number of contracts signed with law faculties in Poland and abroad (max. 1.5 points),
- requirements for candidates for studies (number of Olympians admitted) (max. 2 points),
- implementation of "the academic freedom package" (max. 2 points)
REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS AND QUALITY OF GRADUATES (MAX. 30.5 POINTS)
- the number of compulsory courses completed with an exam (max. 2.5 points),
- obligation to pass an exam in a foreign language (max. 3.5 points),
- the number of foreign language exams that must be passed (max. 1 point),
- obligatory internships in courts (max. 2 points),
- possibility to complete internships in other institutions (max. 1.5 points),
- monitoring the careers of graduates (max. 0.5 points),
- current assessment results of the Polish Accreditation Committee (max. 3 points),
- current assessment results of the Scientific Evaluation Committee (max. 2 points),
- possibility of studying law in English (max. 1.5 points),
- the number of teaching hours (lectures) assigned to the specific courses (max. 1.75 points),
- the number of teaching hours (tutorials) assigned to the courses (max. 5.25 points),
- participation of graduates in the highest state bodies, local governments or professional corporations (max. 2 points),
- employability (max 4 points).
