Methodology | Each of the guide has its separate methodology, but the calculation method is the same. In all Keuzegids guides relative scores are considered. Therefore, for each aspect it is showed whether a program scores above, below or above average compared to the national average. A study program can obtain a minimum of three minuses and a maximum of two pluses. All pluses and minuses together lead to a total score between 0 and 100 points. If a program scores average on all aspects, it will receive 60 points. With each minus or plus, points are deducted or points are added. The total score is also expressed in one to five stars. Three stars is average, at four and a half or five stars we call the course a ‘top course’. KEUZEGIDS UNIVERSITIES 2023 This guide includes:
Each programme is assessed in the Keuzegids on various aspects. A distinction is made between student assessments from the National Student Survey and study success figures. Full-time, part-time and dual assessments are combined. The student assessments count for 71.4% and the study success figures for 28.6%. Each study program is assessed on various aspects in the Keuzegids. From all NSE questions, the questions with the best mutual correlation on the basis of five themes were selected. For each theme, only questions that really say something about the theme were included. In contrast to the other Keuzegids, in the Keuzegids masters, a total score, assessment or top degree designation are not given to the various degree programs. This year only data from the National Student Survey are used for the assessment of study programs. The opinion of students is very valuable, but not enough to say anything about the quality of the training.
