Methodology | THE WUR ranks universities based on five basic categories; teaching, research, citations, international outlook, and industry income. The main component of both the Teaching and Research categories is a reputation survey. Teaching is furthermore broken down into the student to staff ratio, doctorate to bachelor degrees awarded, doctorates awarded to academic staff, and institutional income. Research further consists of research income and research productivity. International outlook measures the percentage of foreign students and staff, as well as the amount of international collaboration. |
