Jan Sadlak is internationally recognized and highly cited expert in higher education policy, governance and management at the system and institutional level [H-index – 12]. His research interests and publications cover such topics as processes of reform and transformation in higher education and science policy, organization of doctoral studies and qualifications, private higher education, world-class university, quality assurance and academic ranking as well as ethical dimension of higher education and academic values. He is [or has been] a member of the editorial boards of the leading journals in the field of higher education, science and social policy as well as international relations.

Professor Nian Cai LIU took his undergraduate study in chemistry at Lanzhou University of China. He obtained his doctoral degree in polymer science and engineering from Queen’s University at Kingston, Canada.

Waldemar Siwinski, founder and president of the Polish Education Foundation “Perspektywy”. WS has considerable experience as author of professional rankings. He prepared over 40 rankings of universities, business schools and secondary schools in Poland.

Robert James Morse

Robert Morse is the Director of Data Research for U.S. News & World Report. He is in charge of producing the America's Best Colleges, the America's Best Graduate Schools and America's Best High Schools rankings all of which are published annually by U.S. News & World Report.

Olesya Lynovytska

Olesya Lynovytska, Head of the Ukraine TOP-200 – best national Universities ranking project. PHD in Medicine. Since 2006 is engaged in introduction of international ranking principles of high and secondary school education in Ukraine. She is Director of International Project Centre at Scientific Research Institute of Applied Technologies (Kyiv, Ukraine).

Birte Hornemann, director of Aalborg University’s office of Quality Assurance and Ranking. Ms Hornemann has worked at Aalborg University since 1996. She has been responsible for accreditation, quality control, budget planning and evaluation at the Faculty of Engineering and Science.

The worldwide ranking UI GreenMetric Workshop in Bologna

This Bologna workshop is aimed to highlight the commitment of Italian universities towards a sustainable 360° approach. UI GM Chairperson, Riri Fitri Sari, will showcase the ranking’s structure and indicators in details. Italian participants are warmly invited to ask questions and raise issues concerning the specificity of the Italian universities to fit into the UI GreenMetric ranking. The Alma Mater Studiorum assumes the role of National Network Hub for UI GM in the framework of this event that will also host experts from RUS (Rete delle Università per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile).

Ranking conference in Warsaw

Polish universities feel, they deserve a better place in international rankings. To discuss what can and should be done to improve the quality of research, rectors of best universities in the country gathered 1-2 December in Warsaw at the conference “Polish Universities in International Perspective – Rankings and Strategic Management of University” organized by Perspektywy Education Foundation jointly with the Conference of Rectors (CRASP) and Polish Accreditation Commission (PAC).
